The RP Group joins in celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month (9/15–10/15), an annual recognition of the achievements and profound contributions of Hispanic and Latine American champions who have positively influenced and enriched our nation.
During this time, we also acknowledge and honor the experiences of our Hispanic and Latine students who are on their journey to success and seeking to earn a certificate, degree, or transfer to a university. Their stories and aspirations are central to our work, and we are inspired by their resilience and determination.
Next Equity Research & Social Justice Collaborative sessions on 9/17 and 10/15!
Join us for a two-part Equity Research & Social Justice Collaborative series exploring Quantitative Critical Race Theory (QuantCrit) and its application in education research and data practices. This series will provide participants with foundational knowledge and practical tools to critically examine the ways data is used, interpreted, and shared in educational systems.
Through these sessions, participants will:
Understand the origins and five foundational principles of QuantCrit;
Explore how systemic racism shapes data systems and how positionality informs research;
Challenge the assumption that numbers are neutral by interrogating statistical methods;
Learn strategies for integrating lived experience and community voice into research;
Apply practical tools for equity audits, policy review, and inclusive data visualization; and
Consider how to build and sustain antiracist, justice-centered data practices within institutions.
This series is designed for institutional researchers, planners, educators, and leaders who want to advance equity by transforming how data informs decision-making.
